IMC Octave – Conference Center

The Sangha Resort Hotel is located outside of Shanghai on a peninsula of land that extends into Yangcheng Lake. With just 18 weeks until the Hotel grand opening, BDG was asked to lead the design of a 140 seat Auditorium, and help the Owner assemble a separate construction team in China that could deliver this ambitious project, to host a World Business Summit which coincided with the Hotel Grand Opening.

During the creation of the Harvard Shanghai Center BDG collaborated with a great Contractor and many subcontractors. The demanding schedule of the Auditorium reunited these team members to address the demanding schedule. The project was completed in time for the Summit, to the pleasure and relief of everyone involved.
